From Mayhem to Mindfulness
Bryan Litman is the founder of Hasu Flower, a company that aims at making mindfulness accessible by integrating a micro-meditation tablet in the routine of meditation novices and experts. He was the creator of the business model and various iterations of the products, while teaching mindfulness techniques to children in after-school programs in CT.
Prior to launching Hasu, Bryan Litman started his career in commercial production with Advertising Hall of Fame director Bob Giraldi. He then moved to Chicago and at the Leo Burnett Agency produced the iconic “Mayhem” campaign for Allstate, which was inducted to the Madison Avenue Advertising Walk of Fame in 2011. During his time in commercial production, he would go on to create award winning work for clients such as Chase, Verizon, Mailchimp, Under Armor, and The New York Times.
Bryan’s work has been celebrated and recognized in multiple advertising competitions such as Cannes, London International, Clio, The One Show, Art Director Club, and AICP, among others.
Bryan lives with his wife, two sons, and dog in Fairfield Connecticut. He started studying meditation in his late thirties. At home he practices meditation in the Chan Buddhist tradition of Silent Illumination. He continues to teach and practice mindfulness to promote wellness and wellbeing in his personal and professional life.
